Mechatronic Solutions Inc., MSInc was incorporated in the state of Maryland in October of 1994 with a charter to engage in the research, development and manufacture of mechanical components and electronic instrumentation of all types and kinds. The company’s expertise is in the mechanical integration of electronic systems and product development for military and industrial applications. The MSInc staff possesses all the mechanical skills and tools required to design, document and test developed systems and components. The network developed over this time with other small businesses in the area gives MSInc the ability to provide expeditious and cost effective delivery of finished hardware and assemblies from prototypes to full scale high production quantities.

Personnel Experience

The MSInc personnel have a total of 70 years experience specializing in design, development and integration of sensor, actuator, custom electronic, off the shelf electronic (COTS) and computer systems. These include designs for airborne, shipboard, undersea, battlefield, factory, and laboratory environments. Mechanical designs included integration of digital, analog, RF, optical, switching mode power supply, custom thick film hybrid and transducer circuits. Systems developed include robotics, remote controlled vehicles, postal sorting equipment, sonar systems, processor controlled mechanisms and man/machine interface controls. Interconnecting cables developed or specified systems include underwater, ground and airborne electrical, optical and mechanical assemblies with terminations. We are accustomed to working closely with the systems, electronics, and software engineers in developing design requirements, layout guidelines, system intrafaces and the final configuration. All designs are developed using MIL-STD-1472 Human Engineering guidelines in developing man/machine interfaces and MIL-STD-454 in providing equipment and personnel safety.

MSInc provides mechanical engineering support to area businesses requiring mechanical design, development, documentation and fabrication of mechanical systems, components, electronic enclosures and mechanisms. Proposals, both Fixed Price and Cost type, can be submitted for tasks that have a well defined Statement of Work or services can be offered on a time and materials basis.
